The weird fire starter is found on the ground on the final level of the Minotaur Maze. It cannot be used to light torches. After closing the Chaos Gate, it can be used on a dormant volcano to temporarily allow access to the Ultimate Dungeon. Successfully using the weird fire starter in this manner consumes it. It appears as a tinderbox when unidentified.
