Wands of far slaying are wands that, when "z"apped, shoot a bouncing energy ray in any of the eight directions, which causes 1d6 damage per hit. They have a base range of 30 + Level, and they gain 4/3/2 (B/U/C) range for each PP spent when activating them.


They are useful, but dangerous. It is hard to use the wand indoors and not hit the PC, although it can be used with a low amount of PP to wake up Orb guardians in the elemental temples.

It can be used with an amulet of life saving and a high amount of PP to kill both the PC and monsters, abusing the fact that the PC will be resurrected by the amulet.

Previously (verified in r65-72) the PC was hit for 1d6, while monsters received 1d6+PV damage. This potentially made the wand quite damaging even without an excessive number of bounces.
