The silvery arrow "True Aim" is an artifact in ADOM. In ADOM v 1.1.1 and some earlier versions, the artifact can only be generated by crowning.
True Aim is a powerful missile, though in versions of ADOM prior to v. 1.2.0, it needs to be retrieved each time it is fired as it lacks the returning propery.
In its unidentified form, True Aim appears as a silvery arrow.
Desirability[]
Once an artifact of very limited use, True Aim is very desirable for Bow users as it deals a huge amount of damage and often returns after it is fired. Even when it doesn't return, it is still situationally useful for softening up or dealing a final blow to powerful monsters. Some situations may call for missiles of penetration or slaying instead, though.
Additionally, as of v. 1.2.0, it can be used to train dexterity by catching it when it returns.
Guaranteed/Common sources[]
It is a possible crowning gift for Archers, Rangers, and Thieves
As of v. 1.2.0, it can also be granted as a precrowning gift or a reward for making use of a potion of uselessness; generated in a surge of power or greater vault; or generated as random loot (albeit very rarely).
