Desirability[]
The book is more or less a joke item carrying little use in the game. It can be used to get minor Literacy training or possibly for Strength training (due to its huge weight).
Guaranteed/Common sources[]
The Collected Works of Confucious can be obtained in the same manner as generic loot (although it is very rare). Alternatively, polymorphing a spellbook (either through potions of exchange or raw chaos) has a high chance to create this book. Necromancers may start the game with Confucious' book.
