I think we should just create one page for all 6 new random dungeons, since they are different only in DL ranges and level count (cavernousness in case of one dungeon). Ln (talk) 14:15, September 23, 2014 (UTC)
- I agree. Besides, none of them seem notable enough on their own for each to deserve a separate page. Nightcrawler226 (talk) 16:49, September 23, 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry about blank comment, don't found 'random dungeon' feature at change log.
I think the crumbling dungeon has a guaranteed lesser vault on the bottom floor. I got one recently, and I think I recall seeing one earlier. Keep an eye out if you go there.

It's mentioned that the fourth level of the moldy dungeon is always a "shifting level," but what is a shifting level? It's only mentioned on this page. --Kahran042 (talk) 01:09, September 22, 2016 (UTC)
- A dungeon level where a strip of dungeon squares and their contents move a square every few turns. Squares that are pushed off the screen reappear on the opposite side of the screen. This dungeon feature was added in R65. Yulgash (talk) 01:40, September 22, 2016 (UTC)
Dungeon features in random dungeons Edit
If you think a random dungeon is guaranteed (or significantly more likely) to have a dungeon feature, please test this several times. It is very easy to perceive patterns in randomness.
I've just undone an edit that stated "Some or all levels [of the ancient dungeon] have statues." This is not the case: I was able to generate a statue-less ancient dungeon with the help of some save-scumming (needed to reload twice). Is it still possible that the ancient dungeon is more likely to have statues than other dungeons? Yes, but that would require a lot of testing to establish. after the last update I found a new dungeon name. It is an antediluvian dungeon. I play the game only rogue style and didn't finished it until now. Maybe someone has some time to explore that kind of dungeon.
I just wanted to mention that before I die again or forget it again.
I read about the Tome of Donors on this wiki, and I have been to the moldy dungeon several times in 1.2.0 (release 60) to get it. I have never seen either the shifting level on lvl 4 or the tome of lvl 5. I have used scrolls of item/monster detection on level 5 to see if I'm missing it, but to no avail. It the ToD only in later updates or something? I'll check this in release 81 soon if I can. CapybaraO (talk) 01:44, November 30, 2017 (UTC)
