The division between marked and unmarked quests seems rather unnecessary, as the original section already contained such things as Blup quest and frog quest which don't show up in the quest log. Some of the new unmarked quests are a stretch. I don't think it makes sense to make up a quest for every optional thing that can give you an item. There is no rock quest that requires you to go to Goblin Camp any more than there is a Fungal Caves quest or a Kill Rehetep quest.

On to specifics:

  • Kill Rehetep - no one asks you to do this, could maybe argue the papyrus scrolls are asking you to go to the pyramid, but I think Locations is a better place for people to find out something like this
  • Feed the demented ratling - fair enough, but this is actually a marked quest and perhaps covered by Gaab'Baay's quests already
  • Silence quest - not really a quest, and better covered by the weird tome delivery
  • Deliver the weird tome - good!
  • Refrain from killing cats - no one asks you to do this
  • Save Khelavaster - no one asks you to do this, already covered under obtain the trident of the red rooster (which itself is an iffy inclusion to the original list)
  • Kill the minotaur emperor - same deal as Kill Rehetep, but even less justification for calling it a quest
  • Become a champion of the arena - already a part of Thrundarr's quest line
  • Paragon of order - no one asks you to do this
  • Find a use for uselessness - no one asks you to do this, better covered on the item's page
  • Talk to dwarven mystic - no one asks you to do this, better covered on the Dwarftown page
  • Tell Hawkslayer his codename - no one asks you to do this, better covered on the HMV and Hawkslayer pages

I took the idea of unmraked quests from the Fallout/Wasteland series where there are some mysterious items that can be delivered to certain people and give back a piece of story despite no one asked for them. So I tried to introduce this idea here.

The main goal was to take this idea a step further and build a separate subpage - a list of quests/locations by the min/max level required - so that it's easier to plan a journey and get the most of it.

I would suggest creating a new page for that, "List of level/XP requirements" or something. Perhaps it would even be more useful than this page, but I dislike having a list of quests that includes things that are not quests. Yulgash (talk) 07:48, April 6, 2020 (UTC)
I created the List of requirements by level page instead. Could you please cleanup this page and leave only the quests you consider important? Clawbugmenot (talk) 18:30, April 6, 2020 (UTC)
