do we really need link to each monsters corpse [gorgon and its corpse, black druid and his corpse]? Wouldn't be more logical to include corpse effects as section in monster page?

The aim of this wiki is, I believe, to provide complete and up-to-date information on everything in Adom. Including details on how much corpses weigh, what color they are when on the ground, approximate satiation values (as well as can be worked out without code-diving), and anything and everything else.

I believe rather then just throwing all that information onto a page with the information on the monster itself, we should have two separate linked pages, one for the monster and one for the corpse. Ascyron 04:18, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

what so interesting in having pages on goblin and goblin corpse? honestly corpse goes to few limited things: Weight, satiation value [actually very few variants], possible effects when eating. Corpse drop ratio could go in too but this is hard to get without code. All that makes 5 lines in subsection. Why you need different article?

Consider all other types of food. Large rations, fried bat, stomafillia, that type of thing. They hardly need more then four or five unique lines each, why have an article for each of them? Why not just throw it all onto Food and be done with it?

Answer: because I'm trying for completeness here. Every monster, every item gets its own article, with as much information as we can possibly get on it. Rather then redirecting people from Goblin corpse (removed red link Ln (talk) 15:19, January 25, 2016 (UTC)) to Goblin#corpse effects, why not just have a separate page? I agree with Ascyron on one thing: If there is anything we do not lack, it's space for as many pages as we want. So no, we most definitely do not need to make a single food table - the guidebook already has one of those anyway. That said, I think individual pages for each corpse is overdoing it a bit. It's much less of a hassle to include a corpse effects section than it is to make individual pages, and there are a LOT of monsters in the game. Also, I think those who want to know about the corpse effects of a monster will probably look up the monster itself anyway. Silfir 10:38, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

what are you planning to write on page goblin corpse effect? Nothing special if uncursed gives satiation for 500 turns a s most corpses do?

I've learned a few games mainly from wiki's [dwarven fortress for example] in my understanding you need A) general topics covering main things [the ones like "archer:, "corruption", "danger level"] to give someone a view of situation B) specific pages which give relevant info.

So i see nothing bad in having black druid corpse topic [except that guy who wrote it might have tested actual effects of eating it.]. As goblins go - let say i encounter goblin corpse before seeing such a thing alive. I wouldn't mind at all be redirected to goblin page and read about him and his corpse.

On other hand if i need to go through three pages goblin> goblin corpse> goblin corpse effect just to read "nothing at all", i would be very angry.

Overall i imagine wiki is/should be orienteated towards players not your wish to have something complete or mine to show off my knowledge. Soirana
