Scrolls of literacy check are a joke item[1] that, when read, give you an estimate of how well you can read, by displaying parts of the message "If you can read this, you must be pretty good" depending on the Literacy skill level.
Desirability[]
They are useless, except for being turned into blank scrolls. The player can already check his proficiency with the Literacy skill by opening the 'a'pply skill dialog, or using the 'L' command.
