Scrolls of charging are scrolls that, when read, can be used to replenish the charges of a wand. An uncursed scroll adds 2-6 charges; a blessed scroll adds 3-9 charges; a cursed scroll will result in 1-3 more charges. Wands of wishing are immune to effects of the scroll. Scrolls of charging can also be read to increase the charge percentage of rechargeable items such as Magic staves. If the PC has no wands or rechargeable items in the backpack, reading a scroll of charging will deal some fire damage to the PC.
