Sabre is a type of weapon that first appeared in ADOM version 1.2.0. They are one handed weapons belonging to the Swords category.
Iron sabres have typical stats of (+0, 1d6+2), whilst eternium sabres have typical stats of (+0, 2d6+10).
Desirability[]
They are useful weapons until better ones are found. They are more powerful than other swords of the same weight — short swords and rapiers; they also offer more or less the same damage potentials as battle axes, at about half the weight. Their weight makes them good weapons for two weapon combat.
Guaranteed/Common Sources[]
They can be generated by the same ways as generic loot.
