The robes of resistance are an artifact armor with a [+3, +12] armor rating and a bonus to toughness. Their unidentified form is "robes of resistance", making them difficult to miss.

Desirability[]

Definitely one of the game's top-tier armors. The robes of resistance are light, provide heavy protection, and give a substantial bonus to toughness along with three of the elemental resistances. Classes with the robes as a possible crowning gift should consider getting crowned before visiting the Tower of Eternal Flames, as the robes' fire resistance can be useful.

Crowning gift possibility for healers, merchants, mindcrafters, monks, and Wizards. Otherwise available as a random artifact in greater vaults, surges of power, or occasionally as a random drop.

of damage. When used as a missile it grants a -4 bonus to hit and causes 1d1
points of damage.

It modifies your toughness attribute by +5.
It grants resistance to fire.
It grants resistance to acid.
It grants resistance to shock attacks.
