The robe of the master monk is a non-guaranteed artifact. It boosts Willpower and speed, and grants a host of useful intrinsics. It appears as a robe when unidentified, but can be distinguished from normal robes by its unusual weight.
Desirability[]
It is quite useful, offering speed, Willpower, and many intrinsics, including the coveted resistance to paralysis. Possibly the best armor for Monks, apart from the Robes of resistance. Other classes might prefer armor with better PV.

It can also be granted as a precrowning gift or a reward for making use of a potion of uselessness, generated in a surge of power or greater vault, or generated as random loot (albeit very rarely).
