Potions of charisma modify the PC's Charisma value when drunk, in a manner dependent on their B/U/C status:
- Blessed potions increase Charisma by 2, uncursed potions by 1. As with other stat modifying potions, this increase is not bounded by potential.
- Cursed potions reduce Charisma by 1; the reduction is thought to be higher if the PC is cursed and/or doomed.
Desirability[]
Charisma is of limited use. For male PCs, improved Charisma can affect the prices offered by newly-discovered shops, but it will not affect prices at shops that have already been visited. Charisma can be helpful for companion-oriented styles of play as it affects the likelihood of individual orders being obeyed, unless the companions were created by necromancy by a Necromancer PC (such companions always follow orders).
