Potions of beauty are potions that, when drunk, modify the PC's appearance. Blessed potions increase it by 2, uncursed potions increase it by 1, and cursed potions decrease it by 1 (2 if the PC is cursed or 4 if the PC is doomed).
Desirability[]
They are somewhat useful since other means of increasing the stat for PCs with above average scores are very limited (whilst athletics usually helps PCs with low scores). See Appearance. High appearance improves the PC's tolerance to corruption, and can improve shop prices for female characters. Drinking a potion of exchange may also switch a high Appearance stat with a more important stat if it is low.

They can be obtained in the same manner as all generic loot. A potion is beauty is also one of the rewards for the so-called frog quest.
