Ogre magi are spell wielding monsters. They can turn themselves invisible and attack unexpectedly from afar with cold spells, making them particularly deadly to low level PCs without cold resistance. They are also considerably strong in melee combat. They have the additional ability to quickly regenerate.

As a spellcasting monster corpse, it has a chance to increase maximum PP and Mana. The Mana increase is unaffected by potential.

Monster memory[]

Even among a race as dense as ogres, an occasional genius will be born with a talent for magic. If this potential magus is not recognized and slaughtered, it may grow to a revered position of power after gaining the magical skills needed to avoid and discourage more physical opponents. Rumors say they freeze their opponents in their tracks, such is the terror of so large a magician. They can be recognized by ritual tattoos covering the body.
