Mummy wrapping is a type of armor in ADOM. It has typical stats of [-2, +0] — with slight variations possible — and wearing it carries a penalty to Appearance (normally -6, but may also vary).
Desirability[]
Given their typical stats and the fact that they cannot be generated with prefixes or suffixes, there is only one reason to ever wear them. As of ADOM r66, wearing a mummy wrapping negates intrinsic and temporary invisibility. This property can be used to bypass Dak's restrictions on entering the Arena for PCs that obtained permanent invisibility early in the game but have yet to obtain the golden gladius.
Guaranteed/Common sources[]
They are often dropped by destroyed mummies and greater mummies. They are one of few items that cannot be generated as loot (only by special means), and are not a guaranteed artifact. (See talk page)
