Medium shields are one of the basic type of shields in ADOM. They offer moderate defensive and protective capabilities without negatively affecting accuracy.
Desirability[]
As the name implies, medium shields are better than their small shield counterparts but are typically worse than large shields and tower shields. The only noteable exception is the crystal variation which features uncharacteristically high DV and PV. Due its relatively low DL, it often is found early on to significantly boost the PC's chances of survival.
Guaranteed/Common Sources[]
Medium shields can be obtained in the same manner as all generic loot. Medium eternium shields can be dropped by chaos knights and chaos warriors.
