|Sees in the dark?||Yes|
Kherab, the dwarven artificer, is an NPC found in Darkforge. He is a source of three quests — Kill Guth'Alak, Kill Thrundarr, and Kill the Seraph — all of which are chaotic, and yield rewards of artifacts that are very powerful but contain the essence of Chaos and Corruption.
Kherab is tough, immune to fire attacks, and can quickly regenerate. PCs that intend to kill him should beware of his multiple melee attacks — as they are not only strong, but seem to always penetrate armor. When he is killed he will drop an anvil, an eternium warhammer, a heavy crossbow, and a few eternium quarrels. After his demise, teleportation can be controlled (if the PC has the ability to do so) in Darkforge without failure. Kherab must be killed on the Darkforge level and not lured off of it to allow for controlled teleportation.
As Kherab is a living dwarf, killing him will prevent the PC from meeting Rolf, despite Kherab's chaotic nature.

Kherab doesn't leave a corpse.
This malevolent dwarf mutters to himself constantly as he hammers away at chunks of steel, planning to shape them into creations of evil. You can almost see the purple aura of chaos glowing around his stunted, twisted form. He turns to you and chuckles about something, something you probably don't want to know.
