Increases HP recovery.
Healing covers long-term treatment of wounds and diseases. Long-term treatment is used automatically. A high healing skill allows for a quicker hit point recovery. Additionally, the chances to survive wasting sicknesses are greatly increased by a high healing skill.
Gives around an (8.3 * Healing/100)% chance to recover HP each turn. This is treated as Natural regeneration, so the PC is not guaranteed to recover HP again until a full natural regeneration interval has passed. Natural regeneration and Healing HP recovery cannot both occur on the same turn.
Sickness slows healing rate significantly.
The amount of HP gained per recovery is increased by the Healthy Talent, month of the Candle, the level 6 and 12 Healer class powers (level 6 power is actually bugged to start working at level 1), and the level 32 Bard class power.
The Healing skill seems to reduce both the length of sickness and the chance of a final fever attack.
Level 18+ Healers have the ability to use the skill on others. Seemingly it can be used on poisoned pets, though the actual effect is not known.
Regaining HP using this skill. Having magic regeneration might make training this skill up rather hard.
