Greater titans are rare monsters in ADOM that only show up on dungeons of the highest danger levels, generally towards the very end of the game. They attack with devastating force; their melee attack is the third most powerful of all monsters in the game, behind greater molochs and their emperor. Unfortunately, they are not as slow as either.
Greater titans also have the ability to rain death from afar with eternium quarrels, and are immune to all elemental magic. They are one of three monsters that can be detected from a distance by the *THUMB* sound produced by their footsteps.

Corpse effects[edit source]
Chance to increase Strength and/or Toughness by 1, or the respective potentials. The increase is less likely the higher the attributes are, with less than a 10% chance of working on Strength if it is 36 or higher, and Toughness if it is 33 or higher.
Appearing as giant humanoids of impeccable taste and beauty, these beings are rumored to be able to shape young worlds to their taste, changing landscapes and weather patterns through force of body and will. The greater titans do the actual designing and planning with normal titans to do much of the dirty work. Needless to say, the benefits of the position leave only the most powerful in it, and the work of world shaping makes them dangerous opponents as the simple burial of a life form is but a minor task to these beings.
