|Sees in the dark?||Yes|
Ghost king is a type of monster in ADOM. The bright yellow ghost king can the bane of any race with a short-to-medium lifespan, as a single damaging hit can cause the PC to age by anything from five years to almost a century. To Elves, Dwarves and Gnomes, this is usually just a minor annoyance, though receiving too many of these attacks can still possibly kill such PCs if they are very careless. Characters of other races may need to drink as many potions of longevity as possible to avoid being considerably weakened or facing a very premature old age death from these monsters' attacks.
As incorporeal beings ghost kings can also pass through solid walls, resist Telekinetic Blasts and float over floor traps. Despite their ability to levitate, ghost kings will not try to cross rivers.

Ghost kings are the souls of mortal nobles, damned to eternal pain and suffering for the horrible deeds during their lives. Their incredible hatred of all living has allowed them to rise to the top of the undead hierarchy. Ghost kings seem to rule their lesser brethren through sheer force of will and dark magics unknown to the living. They seem to engage in elaborate schemes to win mortal souls and bring suffering and damnation on all living beings. Ghost kings are fading images of figures in royal garb. They emanate a cold, chilling light of yellow color and their eyes burn in a fiery red flame. Their voice is a chilling rasp, known to send waves of cold through all listeners.
