Fried bats are a special type of food in ADOM. They can only be purchased from ratling traders, who themselves are normally found only in the Arena and the High Mountain Village. When eaten, fried bats grant a certain amount of satiation that depends on their B/U/C status. See the table below for details.

Fried bats give about 20% of the satiation of rations or cooked lizards. Thus, they can be used as food in emergency, but do not make a reliable long term food source.
