Large shields are one of the basic type of shields in ADOM. They are rather heavy but feature reasonable defensive capabilities compared to other shield groups.
Desirability[]
Large shields are surpassed in quality by tower shields, but are very useful if latter are not found yet. Large crystal shields are arguably worse than medium crystal shields.
