Fancy clothes is one of the basic types of armor in ADOM. They have default stats of [+1, +0], although variations from this are common. While worn, fancy clothes add one to your Appearance.
Desirability[]
These are just not very useful. The appearance bonus is useless, and the risk of it being cursed (or trapped) along with the lack of any PV makes equipping them in the early game a bad idea. Better armors are so common and easy to find it just isn't worth the risk.
