Dwarven children can be found randomly wandering around Dwarftown in the Caverns of Chaos. When 'C'hatted to, they will say "Me wanna sugar, please?". They will take "g"iven bits of plain candy, but will refuse bits of gnomish candy.
They have no important role to play, they are just there for the sake of it.
It should not be a surprise that if the player wants to become chaotic as quickly as possible, luring dwarven children out of Dwarftown to murder them is one of the fastest ways to do it.
They cannot be hit with thrown melee weapons, including returning artifacts such as Rune-covered trident and Rolf's Companion). Attempting to throw a melee weapon at them will not anger them, or cause Dwarftown to become hostile.
- Immune to thrown melee weapons
- Occasionally shrugs off bolts and other resistible magic

Their corpses curse and doom the PC. Note that Waldenbrook will buy dwarven child corpses — something that is sometimes joked about in the ADOM community, due to the lack of attention to detail that went into this odd incidence.
This is a young dwarf, just beginning to learn the ways of his people. He will probably grow up to become a brave warrior or a mighty blacksmith someday, but he is currently thinking about delicious candy and his mother's excellent goblin pie.
