Dark elven priestess is a type of monster in ADOM. They are most notable for their ability to summon hordes of large spiders, which can be a significant problem for early game PCs lacking decent armor and/or poison resistance, and a nuisance for all other PCs. They are also notable for their melee attack, which can not only corrupt the PC but sometimes even paralyzes him/her. Like most dark elves they ignore webs.

Corpse effects
Reduces Toughness by 1 point. Chance to increase Dexterity by 1, or potential Dexterity by 1 if Dexterity is at potential. The increase is less likely the higher Dexterity is, with less than a 10% chance of working once Dexterity is 33 or higher. Cannot increase Dexterity higher than 85.
Monster memory
A dark elf with spider emblems covering her skin and clothing. The elves of the underground have long worshipped the spider Goddess, and so her priestesses, dark in heart as in skin, keep Her servants close in body as well as heart.
Alternative description
A priestess of the spider goddess, she can call upon aid to the arachnids. The ceremonial robe is caked with blood, for her cult constantly requires sacrifices, and the priestesses are also taught in the arts of battle.
