The chain mail of raw steel is awarded by Kherab upon completion of his quest to kill the Seraphim of order in the Heavenly Area. It increases PV by 16, Toughness by 6, and provides strong bonuses including regeneration and paralyzation resistance. Like the other raw steel artifacts, merely carrying it around corrupts the PC. It appears as a steel chain mail when unidentified.

The chain mail provides excellent defenses along with a number of very desirable intrinsics. Being a corrupting artifact awarded for completing a difficult quest makes it of somewhat dubious worth overall.
