Bracers of defense provide a bonus to DV while equipped. The base value for this bonus is +2 but variations are possible (even as far as causing a negative effect on DV).
Bracers of defense cannot be improved with smithing.
Desirability[edit source]
Often useful in the early game for a minor DV increase.

They can be obtained in the same manner as all generic loot.
