Black eyes is one of the 35 possible corruptions that can be inflicted on the PC. While in effect, it provides the see invisible intrinsic.
It is unknown if the corruption has any negative effects.

It has no known drawbacks, and see invisible is a useful intrinsic. Definitely positive corruption and worth keeping for a long time.
