Amulets of teleport control give you the ability to control your destination when teleporting.
Desirability[]
They are very useful if you have no other method of teleport control, although due to their high danger level, it is likely that the player will find a blink dog corpse first.
Even if you do have the intrinsic, you might lose it by drinking from pools, so only sell or toss your amulet if you plan to stay away from pools. Many players will keep a blink dog corpse as backup in shops or the Banshee level (where corpses never rot) should they lose teleport control.
