Non-cursed amulets of health significantly reduce the time required to recover from sickness, and prevent final fever attacks. The amulet also grants the disease resistance intrinsic, which is bugged to increase the severity of sickness inflicted on the PC; thus it should only be worn if the PC is already sick.

Could be lifesaving. Additionally, it enables relatively safe consumption of sickness-inducing corpses like those of kobold shaman.
